Highlights of the Month:

I've been loving this journey of falling back in love with historical romances, and I couldn't have found a better series to do that than this one with all the action, romance, and mystery that anyone could want. 







Once again, I'm delighted I've been getting back into historical romances and picking up series and authors I've meant to for a while. This one is probably my favorite of Kate Bateman's The Bow Street Bachelors series and I'm excited about reading more books I have of hers. 













I've been really enjoying Brighton Walsh's Starlight Cove series as well. Nothing too deep, just some stream, yet sweet contemporary small-town                                                romances. 










Always love revisiting this classic every year.  






This was such a cute send-up to the classic rom-coms I've always loved. I can't wait to see what this author publishes in the future. 







I would say I enjoyed this more than Legends & Lattes, but I would love now to go back and reread it since reading this prequel and loving it so much. I'm really getting more into the cozy fantasy genre.

December 2023 TBR

Hello, my fellow readers, somehow it's December. It's always interesting when coming up with monthly or seasonal TBRs because if I haven't said the words, I'm very much a mood reader, and different months or seasons throughout the year evoke different moods for reading. Fall is always in this interesting in-between where I want to read and/or continue the major book releases in summer while shifting into more paranormal, fantasy, or mystery/thriller reads that give you that spine-tingling feeling of the fall season. TBRaThon January 2024

 Hello, my fellow readers, I've just heard there is going to be a new month-long readathon that I can't wait to happen and that is TBRathon created by Booktuber Leandra The TBR Zero.  I love readathons because they can range from very mood or free-form-based to where there may be some very vague prompts or they can be very specific for certain tropes or types of books. This seems like to be a bit more on the former side as there are multiple ways you can approach the books you are reading. This readathon is all about starting the new year off right and getting a solid hold on your TBR. I can personally say my TBR has been and will probably always be out of control with the number of books I want to read, but I've slowly come to accept that about myself and as a reader.
