TBRaThon January 2024
Hello, my fellow readers, I've just heard there is going to be a new month-long readathon that I can't wait to happen and that is TBRathon created by Booktuber Leandra The TBR Zero.
I love readathons because they can range from very mood or free-form-based to where there may be some very vague prompts or they can be very specific for certain tropes or types of books. This seems like to be a bit more on the former side as there are multiple ways you can approach the books you are reading. This readathon is all about starting the new year off right and getting a solid hold on your TBR. I can personally say my TBR has been and will probably always be out of control with the number of books I want to read, but I've slowly come to accept that about myself and as a reader. However, that doesn't stop me from setting reading goals for myself each and this readathon sounds just like the thing I need to start the new year off the way I want and try to get to a moderate to good place with my TBR, at least for the next year.
Now as I mentioned the creator of this readathon has offered multiple templates to approach this readathon. I, for one, have chosen a few, and being the completionist that I am no doubt will try to find a way to complete the ones I've chosen. If you go to the Google Drive link offered in the announcement video you'll find all the templates Leandra mentions. I personally have chosen the Bingo Board, the Scavenger Hunt, the To Be Rolled board, and the Map Route. Each of these templates and more offers prompts that range from vague to specific. This readathon takes place from January 1st to 31st. That's all the information I want to offer because I want everyone to get a chance to check this video out themselves.
Are you interested in taking part in this readathon? What board or boards are you interested in using during this readathon?
